Rap-Up.com || Lil Mama Bridges Coasts with Snoop Dogg on New Record

Lil Mama is bringing the East and West Coasts together. The New Yorker has hooked up with West Coast kingpin Snoop Dogg for a new collaboration.

The record called “NY NY LA LA” is set to debut in the coming days. “Me and Snoop got together and reworked ‘New York, New York’ for L.A.,” the “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge tells Rap-Up.com. “We reworked it, representing East and West Coast and all of America.”

The 21-year-old femcee, who made her debut three years ago with VYP: Voice of the Young People, says working with Tha Doggfather was a breeze. “Snoop is like family. He really embraced me. That’s my guy right there. It’s always a pleasure and he’s really busy, as far as music is concerned, so for him to take the time out to work with me on my record was an absolute pleasure.”

While she is releasing new music, the free agent has no immediate plans to put out a full album. “I don’t know about another album,” adds Mama. “Taking it one day at a time.”

i think lil mama is a very talented rapper if she would just stay in her lane and capitalize on her own work and stop hatin on nicki just cause shes successful then mama would be a bigger star. OH and @BitchesIsMySons fyi lil mamas raps arent boring they’re true words that you don’t need a zaney voice to get them across okay. Every rapper should have their own style and not have to be super wild to get attention

nicki didn’t invent wigs dummies -_- and she certainlu don’t rap like that joke of a barbie O_o.

I feel if it’s her passion, she should do what she likes. obviously she doesn’t have to keep making music for a steady income. She’s has the avenues to go and get a deal and put out new music. I wouldn’t mind seeing her give it another go.

Where does Nicki Minaj come in on this. Female artist always got to be put against each other its ridiculous. Plus eventually someone is going to have a similar style no one is really that f@#king original. Most of the female artist got that futuristic look going on and different hair wigs and pieces.
Just like most kids that are always wearing Jordans is there one kid everyone jacked style? Fashion has a category such as music and food. But we all add our own flavor to it.
