Rap-Up.com || New Music: Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea lit up the blogosphere and cultivated her own fan base of “Azaleans” with the release of her 2011 mixtape Ignorant Art. After signing with T.I.’s Grand Hustle label, the blonde Australian basks in the Glory on her long-awaited EP. The free six-song project features collaborations with Tip on the Bei Maejor-produced “Murda Bizness,” B.o.B (“Millionaire Misfits”), Mike Posner (“Flash”), and Pusha T (“Runway”).

The rapper-turned-Wilhelmina Model is already in the studio with Diplo working on her next mixtape TrapGold. “I love glory, its a great ep. but #TrapGold is an era, its more than music—its a complete style. everything about it,” she tweeted.

Her full-length debut The New Classic is set to follow. Download/stream Glory below.

I like Runway and Glory. Me, Myself, My Money is a bit weak, played-out content. It is an alright effort. I feel like mixtapes are not a good representation of the artist’s capabilities, though. I am curious to see what her actual studio album will sound like.
