Rap-Up.com || Video: Frank Ocean f/ John Mayer

Hours after performing on the season premiere of “SNL,” Frank Ocean debuts the trippy video for “Pyramids” off his Def Jam debut channel ORANGE. In the Nabil-directed clip, the New Orleans native downs some Absynthe and shoots up the bar before riding off on his motorcycle. He makes his way to a strip club in the middle of the desert where topless women work the pole and tempt their male clients. A dazed Frank stumbles upon John Mayer, who appears to perform a guitar solo. He eventually wanders into the desert as the sun rises with the pyramid in the backdrop.

I don’t like this video at all tho…I don’t get it n it not creating. N why did they use like part of like 6 different songs

Deffinantly an OFWGKTA vid. I remember when people use to complain call Tyler The Creator’s vids demonic cause he made his whole eye black. Frank did the exact same thing with some of the strippers lol

I like both halves of the song, I think it’s interesting he’s been running with the second half. That’s what he performed on SNL, and now that’s what he used for the video. The first half sounds more pop radio-friendly to me, like I could hear it next to Gaga or whoever

Them crackers at SNL know he can’t sing for shit, but cosigning gays has become trendy and necessary for one’s survival in the entertainment world, so they booked him. They couldn’t name two songs off of Channel Orange, but ask them about his coming out, and you couldnt get them to shut up about how “brave” he is. Shit is disgusting.

he spent 8min on the damn video …he could of use the whole song….its different cause he took the FIRST part of the song out. When u been listening to that song its seems different even tho i liked the second part better, but now without the fist part it seems somthing is MISSSING and now it show the i love the frist part as well..hard to understand..and im sad.lol
