In her new role as anchor for “Fuse News,” Ashanti sat down with 2 Chainz last year. They discussed his grind from Tity Boi to 2 Chainz, collaborating with Kanye West, and spoiling his daughter.

“I’m sacrificing for my whole family. I want everybody to a have a smile on their face even when I’m not in the best of moods,” said the “No Lie” rapper, who plans to release his second album this year.

He also reflected on the past and his place in hip-hop. “I feel like my calling ain’t supposed to be the best rapper or the best MC in the world, but my story can inspire somebody not to give up.”

I like them both! That job is perfect for her. She’s good to look at and she asks good questions because she understands both sides. And 2 Chainz is extremely well spoken, Ole Buddy’s a college graduate. And he understands the streets. Best of both worlds. SALUTE

2chainz is not the best lyrical rapper at all, very basic, ignorant rap style with the catchy lyrics that every1 loves, but what i will give him is he is very intellectual.he knows how to put his thoughts and put them into sentences. something you can not say about a lot of rappers today, who mumble, speak at a child level, sound high/drunk illiterate etc. he doesnt.
