Angel Haze

Angel Haze re-ups her “30 Gold” series with a cover of OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars.” The 22-year-old rapper, who previously covered Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness,” puts an acoustic spin on the band’s top 10 hit.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, she spoke about her debut Dirty Gold, due in early 2014.

“I think it’s a melting pot of a ton of different genres,” said Angel. “I worked with a bunch of people who were able to take what I wanted it to be and make it all very cohesive. With their help, I feel like I created my own genre.”
