Foxy Brown Unleashes Remy Ma Diss 'Break's Over'
Foxy Brown is in the middle of Remy Ma’s Nicki Minaj beef. On Friday (March 3), the Brooklyn vet unleashed a minute-long diss track snippet, responding to “shETHER.”
Over Jay Z’s “Takeover” beat, Foxy unloaded a series of insults aimed at Reminisce. “I’ll kill this bitch,” she said, before launching into the verse. “The takeover, the fake’s over / Got a little shine, okay, thank Mona.”
Confirming her Nicki Minaj friendship (“Nick my bitch”), Foxy questioned Remy’s toughness: “When we was on the island, Rem was in PC shook / She was never tough, she was never wildin’.”
From there, Foxy, who recently gave birth to a baby girl, brought up Remy’s pregnancy issues: “Pap fucked that dirty-ass BX beast / I’m a motherfuckin’ BK savage / You heard? Yeah, I heard about that bitch miscarriage.”
Foxy’s diss track is a direct response to subliminal lines on Remy Ma’s “shETHER.” “I kill rappers, and you good as dead, bitch,” Remy rapped on the track. “Talkin’ shit about me to a deaf bitch / And usually I have sympathy for the impaired / But not when you hard of hearin’ from untreated gonorrhea.”
Given Foxy’s well-documented hearing impairment struggles, many assumed this was about her, even if Brown’s name wasn’t mentioned.
Last year, Nicki teased a collaboration that would include Remy and Foxy over a Diplo beat. But speaking with Rap-Up, Reminisce later said it was “never recorded.” “When we discussed it, [Nicki] actually said, ‘Don’t tell anybody. It’s top secret.’ So the fact that she disclosed that information is beyond me,” she said. “I don’t think that’s what people wanted to hear, that combination. That was just my personal decision so I didn’t want to do that. [Foxy Brown is] her friend so I can understand that, but I was gone for a long time. If you wanted to do a song with your friend, do a song with your friend. They could have did that song without me. I don’t understand what that was.”

Other female rappers are also getting vocal about this feud. Lil’ Kim spoke on it, while Rah Digga recently shared her take on Remy’s “Another One” diss.
“Remy u speedin now…pump the brakes sis,” she tweeted on Thursday (March 2). “I’m not on anybody’s team. I wanna hear Nicki respond AND I wanna see Remy play her cards right. She got a W…End of the day I’m on team #HipHop I wanna hear both ladies spit their gutterest rhymes and then team up later as history has it…Remy’s not finished. She just gettin started. I know her personally.”
