Fresh off their four wins at the Grammys, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis returned to where it started. The hip-hop duo, who made their first appearance on “Ellen” in 2012, spoke about their headline-making Grammy performance, where 33 couples including Ryan Lewis’ sister were married onstage while they performed “Same Love.”

“I got emotional during rehearsal and I got emotional during the performance,” admitted Macklemore.

Queen Latifah officiated the ceremony, while Madonna performed “Open Your Heart.” “She was so gracious to come and share the stage, and killed it,” he said of the pop queen, adding, “Still don’t have her cell phone number.”

Ellen also delved into their personal relationships. Macklemore is engaged to his longtime girlfriend and tour manager, Tricia Davis, who’s been with him from the start.

His fiancée got emotional when the group won for Best New Artist. “She broke down into tears and I was like, ‘We’re definitely being watched by like 30 million people right now,'” he said.

Next up, the Seattle duo will attend Sunday’s Super Bowl, where they will be rooting for the Seahawks. In honor of their Grammy wins, Ellen presented them with their own hilarious jerseys.
