Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Reunite in the Studio
Do Justin Timberlake and Pharrell have something “Brand New” in the works? Timberlake posted a pic on Instagram Thursday (March 17) that has fans hoping for a new collaboration.
“Currently…” was the Memphis crooner’s only caption for the in-studio photo. While it’s still unclear if any new music will come from the session, it certainly won’t stop the speculation.
If they did create new tunes, it’s a reunion following a slew of past collabs like “Señorita,” “Like I Love You,” and “Rock Your Body,” which were produced by The Neptunes for JT’s 2002 album Justified and “Brand New,” which appeared on Skateboard P’s 2014 album G I R L.
The collaborators also teamed up for a few laughs, which can be seen on Pharrell’s Instagram account. There, Silas’ father shared some rules about social media in a mini-PSA: “There’ll be no Snapchapping, no Instabamming, and no Swittering.”
