  /  04.12.2016

In honor of Trap Lord Tuesday, A$AP Ferg has unveiled a 20-second snippet of his Missy Elliott collaboration “Strive” off his upcoming sophomore album Always Strive and Prosper.

The radio-ready dance record, produced by DJ Mustard and Stelios, features motivational words from the Hood Pope.

“You can be you today / You can be you tonight,” he sings in the Twitter-released clip. “Know you’re feeling really grey, it’s gon’ be alright / I can see it in your face and I know you wanna fly / So get off your ass and create your life.”

You’ll have to wait to hear Missy’s contribution when A.S.A.P. drops April 22. In addition to Missy, the album features collaborations with Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross, Chuck D, and Future.
