Mila J wants to be “Down” with you.
After dropping her Cali-centric 213 EP in June, the Los Angeles songstress unveils her brand new song “Down” exclusively on Rap-Up.
The ’90s-inspired track, which samples Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down,” features finger snaps and underwater sounds, while Mila gets down with some melodic harmonies and vocal effects.
“I wanna be down with what you’re going through,” she sings on the familiar hook. “I wanna be down / I wanna be down with you.”

But Mila J isn’t done with goodies for fans. She also released a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her “Kickin’ Back” music video.
“It’s just a really cool vibe,” she says while on set. “We’re just going for a real scandalous, a messy pink vibe.”
