2 Chainz Announces ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ Release Date

2 Chainz is finally ready to drop Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. The long-awaited, oft-delayed project now has a new release date: June 16.

To announce the news, Tity Boi released a trailer for the album, featuring some of his famous guests talking about his greatness. Drake, for instance, gives him some serious acclaim.

“You’re one of my favorite rappers of all time,” he said. “I say that proudly. You got the best songs.”

Meanwhile, Pharrell Williams appears to point out his uniqueness. “That’s a unicorn,” he said. “When you catch one of them, you don’t let that motherfucker go, ’cause it’s its own thing. Somebody wanna see one of them, they gotta come to you.”

Back in January, Hairweave Killer announced that Pretty Girls Like Trap Music was dropping on April 7. However, that date came and went. Since then, he’s released a series of collaborative “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” playlists with the likes of Nicki Minaj.

In the past few months, 2 Chainz has also dropped a few songs that might end up on the project, including “Good Drank” with Gucci Mane and Quavo and “It’s a Vibe” featuring Jhené Aiko, Trey Songz, and Ty Dolla $ign.

Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is due June 16.
