Dave East has dropped a flurry of “East Mixes” this year, but today, he unleashes a brand new banger, “No Back and Forth,” an ode to his favorite rappers.

After shouting out Tee Grizzley on his first verse, the New York rhymer references JAY-Z and Nas while noting that his next album is ready to go. “4:44, shoutout out to Hova,” raps Dave. “He still got the culture / Waiting for Nas to drop, Paranoia in the holster.”

The Empire State MC also provides a bit of an update on Paranoia on the outro, where he bashes his fellow MCs.

“Stop going back and forth with these ni**as,” he says. “I actually have to listen to myself. Going back and forth with a lot of these ni**as, man, shit be funny to me. I’m still gon’ be on a yacht, on a private jet with your favorite model and your favorite bottle. Fuck is you talkin’ ’bout, ni**a? We after that other bread, man. Real paper. Paranoia comin’.”

Earlier this year, Dave dropped remixes to The Weeknd’s “Party Monster,” French Montana’s “Unforgettable,” Drake’s “Free Smoke,” and Future’s “Mask Off.” He also recently teamed up with Monica to record a new song.

Paranoia — his first project since last year’s Kairi Chanel — is expected to arrive via Def Jam/Mass Appeal at some point this year.
