Dreamville Drops New Tracks 'LamboTruck' and 'Costa Rica'
Ahead of Friday’s release of Revenge of the Dreamers III, Dreamville drops a pair of new tracks: “LamboTruck” and “Costa Rica.”
On the Cal Banx-produced “LamboTruck,” Cozz, REASON, and Childish Major hatch a plan to rob J. Cole and Top Dawg President Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. “Look, let’s make a deal / While I go and rob Cole / You go rob Top,” raps TDE’s REASON.
The posse cut “Costa Rica” features Bas, JID, Guapdad 4000, Reese LAFLARE, Jace, Mez, Smokepurpp, Buddy, and Ski Mask the Slump God trading rhymes over the Pyrex and Cubeatz production.
“LamboTruck” and “Costa Rica” follow “Down Bad” with J. Cole, Bas, JID, EarthGang’s Olu, and Young Nudy, as well as “Got Me” featuring Ari Lennox, Ty Dolla $ign, Omen, and Dreezy.
An accompanying documentary, REVENGE: A Dreamville Film, debuts tomorrow, July 2. The film chronicles the recording sessions for the album that took place at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta over the course of 10 days in January. Revenge of the Dreamers III will be released on Friday, July 5.
