New Music: Jhené Aiko - 'Trigger Protection Mantra'

Jhené Aiko is keeping the peace.

The R&B songstress debuts the meditation remix to her “Triggered (freestyle).” But unlike its predecessor, the “Trigger Protection Mantra” promotes healing energy and is “for relaxation purposes.” In addition to adding her calming vocals, Jhené played the alchemy crystal singing bowls in the key of A (third eye), E (solar plexus), and C (root chakra).

“Calm down / Calm down eventually,” she sings on the soothing track. “Protect your energy / I am protected.”

Jhené has been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2017’s Trip, which will consist of all freestyles. “my next album is all freestyles where i touch on many subjects and relationships… past, present and future,” she previously revealed.
