Chris Brown and T-Pain Tease New Collaboration

  /  04.03.2020

Nappy Boy and Pretty Boy are back again.

T-Pain and Chris Brown have another collaboration on the way. T-Pain teased a snippet of an undisclosed track during his Instagram Live on Thursday. The teaser finds the two singing over an acoustic R&B melody reminiscent of their early 2000s hits.

“Baby, just tell me you’re gonna love me and I’ll admit defeat / It ain’t that deep / You know I’d kill for some of your real feelings,” sings T-Pain before Breezy chimes in.

“Oh my gosh, you tryna kill me in my sleep / Rough sex makin’ you my enemy,” he sings. “Can I be honest, baby? / I kinda like the fact that you kinda crazy / Yeah, you bipolar just like me / That ain’t a problem, baby.”

It’s unclear if and when the full song will be released, but Chris hinted that it could drop before the summer. “YALL THINK WE WONT GONE FUCK SOME SHIT UP BEFORE SUMMER,” he commented.

Fans are already excited for the song. “RELEASE SHIT DURING QUARANTINE,” demanded one, while another added, “OMG! Early 2k vibes!”

T-Pain and Breezy have collaborated on numerous tracks throughout the years including “Best Love Song,” “Freeze,” “Classic You,” and “Kiss Kiss,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2007.

During a 2011 interview with Rap-Up, T-Pain opened up about his close bond with the singer. “I think my relationship with Chris is better than anybody else,” he said. “I don’t think I chill or bond with any other artist like that.”

After originally being paired up with Scott Storch, T-Pain is set to battle Lil Jon in the latest beat battle, which is scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. EST.
