DaBaby Readies ‘Blame It on Baby’ Deluxe Edition

The year of DaBaby continues.

On Tuesday (Aug. 4), the chart-topping rapper is set to release a deluxe edition of his album Blame It on Baby. Taking to social media, he revealed the cover art and announced that the project will arrive with 10 new tracks.

“TUESDAY Blame it on Baby #DELUXE #10NewHITS,” he wrote in the caption. “Don’t tell the label I told you this but it’s not a ‘Deluxe …it’s #ReallyABrandNewAlbum.”

In April, DaBaby released his sophomore album Blame It on Baby featuring Megan Thee Stallion, Future, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the Roddy Ricch-assisted hit “Rockstar,” which remains No. 1 on the Hot 100 for a seventh week.

Baby is also celebrating his three nominations at the 2020 MTV VMAs including Artist of the Year and Best Hip-Hop.

Despite the lockdown, he continues to grind. He recently shared footage from his 24-hour trip to L.A. to shoot the deluxe album cover and a music video. “Last minute Flight to LA just to shoot the Deluxe Album Cover, Shot a music Video, and made it to 2 big meetings & returned to Charlotte all in one day,” said Baby.
