Saweetie Drops 'Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1' EP
On the heels of her Gwen Stefani collaboration (“Slow Clap”), Saweetie gets the party started with Season 1 of her Pretty Summer Playlist.
On the 7-track EP, the newly-single rapper shines a spotlight on rising stars including Sacramento vocalist Kendra Jae and San Antonio-bred singer-songwriter Lourdiz, who adds her vocals to “Back Seat.” L.A.’s own Drakeo the Ruler links up with the ICY GRL on “Risky,” for which she also released a video. Elsewhere, Saweetie jumps on tracks like Bbyafricka’s “Baby Mama Coochie” and Loui’s TikTok hit “Talkin’ Bout.”
Pretty Summer Playlist arrives ahead of Saweetie’s long-awaited debut album Pretty B*tch Music, due this summer. In addition to the single “Best Friend” with Doja Cat, the project is set to feature production from Danja, Lil Jon, and Murda Beatz.
