Meek Mill is turning 4th of July Weekend into 4th of July Meekend with the release of Meekend Music II.
Two months after dropping the original Meekend Music, the Dreamchasers boss unleashes a four-song EP, with appearances from YFN Lucci and Barcelini (“Young Ni**a Dreams”) and Eearz (“Organized Chaos”), plus production from Mike WiLL Made-It, StreetRunner, and Dougie.
Meekend Music II arrives ahead of Meek’s next major label album, Wins & Losses. The project has already spawned the Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign-assisted single “Whatever You Need,” “Glow Up,” and The-Dream-assisted “Young Black America.”
Last month, Meek opened up about his first album since 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money. “I’m just breaking down the wins and losses of my life,” he said, “what molded me to being Meek Mill, the trials and tribulations of my life that made me as strong as I am today.”
Up next, the MMG spitter is heading out on the “Against All Odds Tour” with Yo Gotti, starting tomorrow (July 5) in Cleveland.
