Kid Ink gets his yoga on in the video for his latest 7 Series single, “Supersoaka.”
The 10,000 Takes Production, directed by Jathan, finds the Batgang boss sweating up a storm during a yoga session with two beautiful women by his side. While he stretches them out, his lady friends show off their flexible and toned physiques.
The song’s yoga theme follows Kid Ink’s lyrics over Murda Beatz’s high-powered production. “Hundred-fifty, no stress,” he raps. “Bend it over, yoga stretch / Supersoaka, change clothes / Different city, same hoes.”
As the clip continues, another skilled yogi displays impressive moves in front of a black backdrop. But to end the visual with some levity, a large man can be seen completing his own yoga moves, simply to dunk cookies into a glass of milk.
Speaking with Vevo during a live interview, Kid Ink explained the visual’s concept. “I’m kind of the instructor here,” he said. “I’m like the O.G. in the class. They’re kind of brand new so they’re following my lead. There’s parts where I’m trying to show them, ‘Get it together. I know the poses right.’ Hopefully it looks like that and I just don’t look like a pervert.”
According to Ink, the video is full of real life yoga moves, making it a great workout for everyone involved. “I think that everyone there really had a full workout,” he said. “We were in that video shoot for probably like six hours really doing those moves.”
“Supersoaka” follows past 7 Series videos like “Lottery,” “No Strings,” the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “F With U,” and the latest, a 360-degree visual for “Mochi.”
