Mic check 1, 2. Fergie pays tribute to hip-hop classics while flossing her fashion in the video for “Like It Ain’t Nuttin” off her sophomore album Double Dutchess.

While showcasing some daring looks with a confident strut, the former Black Eyed Peas frontwoman dances to the beat, which fans may remember from The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Ten Crack Commandments” or Schoolly D’s “P.S.K. What Does It Mean?”

Whether riding through the city in provocative makeup, dancing at a party full of magnetic lights, or dropping her mic on stage, Fergie maintains her true school homages by referencing Salt-N-Pepa’s “My Mike Sounds Nice,” Audio Two’s “Top Billin’,” Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M.,” Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight,” and Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says.”

Like “Hungry,” “You Already Know,” and “M.I.L.F. $.” before it, “Like It Ain’t Nuttin'” is one of many videos that Fergie-Ferg unveiled as part of Double Duchess: Seeing Double, a one-night-only experience that took place yesterday at iPic Theaters nationwide.

Up next, the pop diva will release Double Dutchess, her long-awaited sophomore album, a follow-up to 2006’s The Dutchess, on Sept. 22.
