Summer Walker’s new album Still Over It drops tonight featuring Cardi B, SZA, and Pharrell.
One name that is not currently on the tracklist is Nicki Minaj. But that may change.
During a recent Instagram Live, Summer hinted that she and the Queen are working on a collaboration for an upcoming deluxe edition of the album.
“What ya’ll know about the Nicki feature?” Summer responded after being asked by a fan. “How y’all know?”
Summer says she and Nicki have been in contact, but it’s unclear if they’ve actually recorded a song. “That’s up to Nicki. We spoke…I’m really excited for her team to hit me back and everything,” she added. “So, there might be a deluxe. There might be a video. There might be, there might not. It’s up to her.”
She remains hopeful to bring the song to life. “But we’ gon see. Let’s all pray.”
Still Over It, the follow-up to Summer’s 2019 debut, features the single “Ex for a Reason” with JT, plus appearances from Ciara, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, and Omarion.
