  /  08.02.2016

2 Chainz is back in mixtape mode.

The Atlanta rapper is readying a new project, Daniel Son; Necklace Don, for release this week. “Comin this Friday,” he wrote on Instagram. Daniel Son; Necklace Don …..Time for some new music.”

In his text conversation with Drake, he also revealed that a collaboration may appear on the tape. “When we dropping that joint?” Drizzy asks. “Waiting on response from Apple,” Tity Boi replied.

This would hardly be their first collaboration. The two have worked together numerous times on tracks like “No Lie,” “Fu**in’ Problems,” and “All Me.”

This won’t be the first 2 Chainz project out this year. In March, he dropped his latest album ColleGrove, billed as a joint project with Lil Wayne. Plus, the two MCs have said a sequel is probable.

Meanwhile, Drake is on the “Summer Sixteen Tour” with Future. In the past two nights, he’s surprised fans in Toronto with Rihanna and teased a joint project with another surprise guest, Kanye West.
