XXXTentacion Appears to Hit Woman in Newly-Surfaced Video

  /  03.27.2018

Fresh off his chart-topping album ?, XXXTentacion is back in hot water. An old video of the controversial rapper hitting a woman in the head has surfaced.

The video also brings new light to XXXTentacion’s ongoing legal troubles. He recently had his house arrest restrictions lifted, while he awaits trial on numerous charges for allegedly beating his then-pregnant girlfriend in a separate case.

Prosecutors are now reviewing the video, according to TMZ. The date is unclear, but it could be from the past, according to his hairstyle. The clip’s impact on the case remains unclear.

XXXTentacion’s lawyer, Jaclyn Broudy, has a different take. She said that the “video was taken completely in jest.” She later added that the clip was old and that he is now a changed person.

The controversial rapper also blasted critics of his treatment of women in the past. “Fuck ya’ll little sisters in their throats,” he said last year. “Anybody that called me a domestic abuser, I’m finna domestically abuse ya’ll little sisters’ pussy from the back.”

Allegations haven’t dimmed X’s success. His latest album ? topped the Billboard 200 with 131,000 equivalent album units (20,000 traditional) in its first week out.
