It seems fanciness comes at a price. American Express is suing Iggy Azalea for an unpaid balance that exceeds $300,000.

Legal documents indicate that AmEx is taking Iggy to court over the aforementioned total, which it claims is $250,0000 more than her preset limit. The credit card company is asking for the full amount in addition to legal fees, reports TMZ.

It’s been a trying year for Azalea, who’s voiced frustrations over her long-delayed album Digital Distortion. In July, the rapper opened up about the hold-ups and why she would not be releasing any new singles.

“My album ins’t canceled, it’s just not having another single. It’s still being released,” she tweeted. “It’s being released just terribly lol. I’m very unhappy with the way things have been handled too. I will make sure it’s not this way for ia3…I can assure you guys of that.”

Prior to that, Azalea released “Mo Bounce,” “Switch,” and “Can’t Lose” with Lil Uzi Vert. Digital Distortion remains without a release date.

Up next, Azalea will join JAY-Z, Jennifer Lopez, and many other artists at TIDAL X: Brooklyn, a benefit concert for natural disaster relief and recovery.
