Our conversation with Big Sean continues. After flirting with Kelly Rowland on set of her “Lay It on Me” video, the “Marvin & Chardonnay” rapper shared which song will likely be the next single off his debut Finally Famous, upcoming tour plans, details on his sophomore album, and the status of his collaborations with Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y.
The Detroit MC is launching his “I Am Finally Famous” headlining tour this fall with his fellow G.O.O.D. Music signee CyHi the Prynce. “I’m giving fans new music too, giving the people who’ve been riding with me new shit, new mixtape stuff, album stuff, and bringing just a whole ‘nother element to the show,” revealed Sean, who may join Jay-Z and Kanye West on some spot dates on the “Watch the Throne” tour.
While he’s still promoting his debut, Sean has begun work on his second album and is planning to collaborate with “Ni**as in Paris” producer Hit-Boy. “I already got one song for the next album,” he told Rap-Up TV. “I’ma have a studio bus on this tour, so I’ma be bangin’ that shit out every night.”
His project with Wiz and Curren$y is still up in the air. “We tryna figure out what it’s gon’ be, if it’s gon’ be an album, if it’s gon’ be a mixtape, if we just gon’ say fuck it and leave it alone.”
