Kanye West, Mr Hudson, Kid Cudi, and Pusha T

Kanye West returned to Twitter with some G.O.O.D. news. The rapper has revealed plans for a G.O.O.D. Music album, due next spring.

“GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012,” wrote Yeezy. No more details were given, but it’s safe to say that the compilation will feature members of the G.O.O.D. Music family including Common, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Pusha T, and CyHi the Prynce.

But first, Kanye will hit the road with his big bro Jay-Z on the Watch the Throne tour, which kicks off October 29 in Atlanta.

@Chris, Ymcmb has drake, nicki minaj, lil wayne, cory gunz, and tgya… They definitely have more potential than good music! Don’t get my wrong I love kanye and John legend! But out of good music, kanye the only 1 that can consistently make great music! John legend hasn’t had a good album since get lifted, common hasn’t had a hit since Be, pusha t will never reach the success of the clipse again and has more features on his album then he has verses on it, big Sean is cool, and prince? Eh. They need more youth because minus kanye and Sean, the album sounds boring

@MrUnhateable, What the fuck are you on? G.O.O.D. Music is definately the best crew. Young Money has a few good rappers, but G.O.O.D. Music has way better production and lyrics. Especially if Kanye is behind it all. They are all just more underground (Pusha T, Prince CyHi). The music they create is way better and more intelligent than anything that Young Money can put out. Young Money is for 13 year old girls. Drake is only good when he isn’t working with Young Money (Minus Wayne and Nicki) And Nicki and Wayne are both popish, but ok. But G.O.O.D. Music is straight up hip-hop. This album is going to make history.

@whatup, G.O.O.D music is definitely the best Hiphop crew, the gunning for that wu-tang spot. I Common and john legend are equally impressive, you might not quite be able to judge john legend because he is rnb/neo-soul but yall only thinking hiphop. YM/CMB IS third but it can’t be because they’re a little popish. Tackling the pop world has been called Hip hop’s greatest achievement because for a longtime there was no hiphop artist winning on the pop charts.

@youu, I’ll admit I’m a big ymcmb fan and that first group album wasn’t hot. Too much jae millz, gudda, mack and not enough drake, nicki, and tyga. I think if ye produces this like he did his last album it will be nice. But if he takes the wtt approach it will be boring! I’m more excited for the next ymcmb album tho. Drake and nicki are now superstars, tyga has been on some hit songs, and Cory gunz was added to the mix. A new ymcmb album with the right care has the potential to be epic!

I can’t wait for the album, Yeezy on production, Pusha T, Big Sean, its ganturanteed to have sales of like 200,000 I don’t think there’s any weak links in the G.o.o.d music family. Drop a release date yeezy so i can start saving up my money.

The G.O.O.D. Music Family Album is going to kick major ass. Kanye West is a great artist, and a great producer who has dominated hip hop for over 7 years now. If Kanye West, Jeff Bhasker, Mike Dean, and No. ID produce this album the same way they produce MBDTF, then we could have another classic in our hands in the future. Even if this album is not a future classic, this album should still be pretty good. Pusha T drop some of the best killer verses on MBDTF, and Pusha T was great when he was part of The Clipse, so I expect Pusha T to bring his A game. Common is always a great rapper, so I can’t doubt him. Cyhi Da Prince is going to get some exposure for sure. Kid Cudi, John Legend, and Mr. Hudson are going to sing the hooks, and they are going to kill the hooks. I would like to see Nas, Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, J. Cole, Jay Electronica, and Rihanna all get a feature on the album as well. This album may or may not sell a lot of records, but I expect G.O.O.D. Music Family to put a quality album.

@whatup, and Outrage Outzilla, I believe Kid Cudi can rap, and he probably will spit a few rap verses on the album, but I feel Kid Cudi is a better singer, than a rapper, and Kid Cudi does great with hooks all the time. There is no doubt that G.O.O.D. Music’s first album will be better than Young Money’s first album. Kanye West, and G.O.O.D. Music always put out good music.

drake and nicki minaj are pretty much all the talent young money has. lil wayne’s too pop and the others are just meh maybe except tyga.
on the other hand GOODs probably one of the most talented and artistic labels EVER. i mean yeezy, kid cudi, john legend, pusha-t and the others, what more can you want from a label?
oh and it would be even more awesome if no id and jay-z were involved in the album. i really like it when kanye and jay drop rhymes together.
