Video: Toni Braxton - 'Deadwood'

  /  10.06.2017

Toni Braxton is set to release her new album Sex & Cigarettes early next year, but first she unleashes the classy video for “Deadwood.”

Mostly executed under a black-and-white filter, the sleek and sexy clip finds Toni singing seductively behind a vintage microphone with a cellist by her side. “Just want to let you know, I won’t let this one go,” she sings. “You got me down, but I ain’t out.”

In between her performance scenes, visual effects dazzle the screen, including broken glass, lightning bolts, cigar smoke, and sparkly diamonds. Meanwhile, she is joined by a hunky co-star, who she previously gushed about.

“There is this guy in the video who’s super sexy,” she said. “I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of him. He’s great eye candy.”

Sex & Cigarettes marks Braxton’s first solo album since 2010’s Pulse.
