Skylar Grey Makes a Splash at Grammys

The world got a glimpse of the mysterious Skylar Grey, born Holly Brook Hafermann, during her performance with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Rihanna at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. While walking the red carpet, the “I Need a Doctor” singer gave one of her first interviews to the press as Skylar Grey, revealing that she was more nervous about giving an acceptance speech than performing with rap’s titans.

“I’m not that nervous. I’m not nervous about the performance, at least,” she told CBS, “because I’m born to do music and I’m not really born to speak.”

Skylar, who previously recorded under the name Holly Brook, has already received Grammy nominations for Eminem and Rihanna’s smash “Love the Way You Lie.” The elusive singer is currently working on her Wonderland Music debut with producer Alex Da Kid.
