Azealia Banks Burns Bright at Coachella

All eyes were on Azealia Banks, who made her official U.S. live debut at this weekend’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.

Storming the Gobi tent with her vibrant fuchsia hair, black-and-white stripes, and combat boots, the Harlem firecracker earned rave reviews with her Saturday afternoon set that included her single “212,” “Fuck Up the Fun,” “Bambi,” as well as new material off her upcoming EP 1991.

The 20-year-old rapper paid homage to Amy Winehouse with an acapella version of The Zutons’ “Valerie,” and ended her set 25 minutes early after her DJ accidentally skipped two songs.
