Jamie Foxx and 2 Chainz

Jamie Foxx returned to his comedic roots, hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the second time. The star of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained kicked off the show with his monologue (“How Black Is That?”), impersonating President Obama’s dance moves and sitting down at the piano for a musical number.

The Oscar winner, who turns 45 this week, told the audience what he wants for his birthday by singing the hook from 2 Chainz’ “Birthday Song.” It wasn’t long before the Grammy-nominated rapper made a surprise appearance to help him convey his birthday wish.

During other skits, Jamie played a Michigan State student who loves Japanese culture (“J-Pop: Christmas”), Madea and Alex Cross (“Tyler Perry’s Alex Cross 2 Madea: Special Ops”), and a former porn star (“Swarvoski Crystals”).
