Watch Childish Gambino's Virtual Reality Video for 'Me and Your Mama'

Hot off the release of Awaken, My Love! Childish Gambino unleashes a virtual reality performance of the standout cut “Me and Your Mama.”

This is a front-row view of a dramatic performance shot at Donald Glover’s PHAROS experience at Joshua Tree, Calif. in September. It features the rapper-singer-comic-actor in tribal-inspired attire and body paint, stomping, dancing, and singing to a crowd of fans, who are visible in the 360-degree clip.

Directed by Fred Warren, the VR experience was created in collaboration with Microsoft and can be viewed on the PHAROS app, available through iOS and Android.

This might be a glimpse of what fans can expect from the virtual reality vinyl version of Awaken, My Love!, which is set to drop in 2017.
