Stream Drake & Sade's 'More Love' Mashup Playlist

From More Life to More Love.

Just months after Drake’s Sade meeting turned into a tattoo, their musical styles have been mashed up for OVOSOUND Radio.

On Saturday (May 27), Brooklyn DJ/producer Vacations dropped More Love, a 5-track project that blends Drizzy’s material with his idol’s. The title is even a nod to More Life and Love Deluxe.

The opener, “Can’t Cherish Everything,” combines “Cherish the Day” from Love Deluxe with “Can’t Have Everything” off More Life. In between, Vacations mashes Sade’s “Give It Up” off Stronger Than Pride with the 6 God’s “Get It Together” to create “Give It Up, Get It Together.”

After hearing more mashups like “Gyalskin” (which combines “Gyalchester” and “Skin”) and “Lovers Smoke” (which blends “Lovers Rock” with “Free Smoke”), the project was finalized with “Never Thought I’d See the Passionfruit.” The smooth closer took Drake’s “Passionfruit” and blended it with “Never Thought I’d See the Day” for a melodic finale.

Sade was slated to collaborate with Drake on a remix to 2010’s “The Moon and the Sky,” though she later opted to have Jay Z on the song instead. Since then, their friendship has grown. The two even had a much-publicized meeting in March of this year.

Just one day later, Drizzy debuted his Sade tattoo, a portrait of the iconic singer on the left side of his torso.
