Sam Smith Announces New Album 'The Thrill of It All'

  /  10.06.2017

After wowing fans with “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Sam Smith has announced his sophomore album The Thrill of It All.

Three years since his Grammy-winning debut In the Lonely Hour, Smith’s highly-anticipated album is slated to arrive Nov. 3 via Capitol Records. Prior to that, he will perform on “Saturday Night Live” on Oct. 7.

To go along with all of these announcements, Smith has also unleashed “Pray,” a collaboration with super-producer Timbaland, which features his signature bounce over haunting piano keys.

“I don’t know what to say,” sings Smith. “Maybe I’ll pray / I never believed in you, no, but I’m gonna pray / You won’t find me in church, reading the Bible / But I am still here, and I’m still your disciple.”

Smith has also announced his upcoming “The Thrill of It All Tour,” which is set to run from June 18 in Toronto through Nov. 13 in Calgary. Pre-sale tickets will be available Oct. 11, while general tickets go on sale Oct. 12.
