Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre

Kendrick Lamar showed love to the West Coast by bringing out a few surprise guests during his “BET Music Matters” concert in his hometown of L.A. last night. Concertgoers got more than their money’s worth when hip-hop heavyweights T.I., Game, Big Sean, and Dr. Dre all joined Compton’s golden child onstage at Club Nokia.

“This is one of my favorite records that I’ve done,” said Kendrick before performing “The City” with fellow Compton native Game.

Kendrick’s mentor Dre joined him for their collabos “Compton” and “The Recipe,” both off Kendrick’s upcoming debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, while the King of the South jumped onstage for “Go Get It” and “What You Know.”

Big Sean also showed support for hip-hop’s new kid on the block, rapping along as Kendrick performed “Swimming Pools (Drank).”
