Video: Snoh Aalegra - 'Emotional'

Snoh Aalegra breaks free in the striking visuals for her RZA-produced song “Emotional.” In the black-and-white clip, shot in downtown L.A. and directed by Sarah Chatfield, the Swedish-born beauty shows off her raw vocals while dancing in an empty swimming pool and beside a railroad track.

“This song is about heartbreak and frustration, of desperately wanting to love and to be loved back,” Aalegra tells BlackBook. “I recently got out of a four-year relationship and that’s been really rough. In this video, I’m letting all my emotions out.”

Snoh is signed to No I.D.’s label ARTium/Epic Records. Her EP There Will Be Sunshine is available now.
