New Music: Kid Cudi - 'Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven'
Kid Cudi won’t be hitting the road this year after all. The rapper has pulled the plug on his “Especial” tour. The 16-city trek kicked off in Denver last month, but it won’t go further.
“Things weren’t together production wise and I need a bit to make some changes,” Cudi explained in an open letter. “I got a lot I’m dealing with at this time in my personal life too and in order for the shows to be the best experience possible as well as keeping my sanity intact, I need to regroup.”
As a consolation, he has liberated his next single, the title track from his album Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven, due Dec. 18. He produced it along with Plain Pat. “It is our hope that this song makes you feel something again,” said Cudi.
He also offered an apology to his fans. “I fuckin love each and every one of you with all I got and again, I am really sorry ya’ll.”
