Meek Mill is switching up his rap style.

In the wake of police killings around the country and inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, the Philadelphia MC has announced that he will no longer “rap about extreme violence” following the release of his Dreamchasers 4 mixtape.

“AFTER DC4 I won’t continue to rap about extreme violence!!!” Meek wrote on Instagram. “But I will remain to let my people know in these terrible environments to adapt and survive at any cost because US BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL AT WAR WITH OURSELVES AND THE SYSTEM IN REAL LIFE!”
