Kanye West Reschedules Tour Dates Due to Kim Kardashian Robbery
Family first. Kanye West has been forced to reroute his “Saint Pablo Tour” following his wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris.
This week, Yeezus is rescheduling his shows in Philadelphia and Detroit, originally set for Oct. 4 and Oct. 6. They are now slated to go down Dec. 13 and Dec. 22, respectively. Concertgoers can use original tickets on those dates, according to Billboard.
Live Nation reportedly cites “family concerns” as the reason for the schedule change.
On Sunday (Oct. 2), Kardashian was reportedly gagged, bound, and robbed at gunpoint inside of her room at Hôtel de Pourtalès in Paris. According to reports, five masked men stole an estimated $9-$10 million in jewelry, a cell phone, and a wallet. Today, TMZ reports that investigators have not found any surveillance footage of the robbers.
Kanye abruptly ended his performance at The Meadows Music & Arts Festival on Sunday after hearing about his wife’s robbery. “I’m sorry,” he said. “Family emergency. I have to stop the show.”
The “Saint Pablo Tour” is now set to continue Friday (Oct. 7) in Mr. West’s hometown, Chicago.
