Ms. Lauryn Hill & Nas Announce Joint Tour

  /  05.30.2017

Imagine that! Twenty-one years after Ms. Lauryn Hill and Nas dropped “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That),” the hip-hop legends are going on tour.

The North American trek, which is set to kick off Sept. 7 in Chicago, will take Esco and L-Boogie on a run through Toronto, Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles, wrapping Oct. 11 in Vancouver.

Comedian Hannibal Buress and reggae star Chronixx will open on select dates, adding different dimensions to the forthcoming jaunt. Citi pre-sale begins Wednesday (May 31) at 10 a.m. local time. Meanwhile, tickets will be available to the public starting June 2.

This isn’t the first time Nas and Lauryn have been on tour together. In 2012, the duo also joined forces for the “Life Is Good/Black Rage Tour.”

“This is history,” Nas said at the time. Throughout the years, they’ve also done surprise appearances together, including a 2014 duet at Coachella. Just last year, Esco was part of select dates on L-Boogie’s “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! Tour.”

Ms. Hill hasn’t released a new album since 1998’s classic The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Meanwhile, Nas is planning to drop the follow-up to 2012’s Life Is Good this year.
