New Music: 6LACK & Jhené Aiko - 'First F**k'

  /  02.23.2017

After surprising fans with The Weeknd at a show in Los Angeles, 6LACK gets an assist from another superstar, Jhené Aiko, on his latest single, “First Fuck.”

The sensual collaboration sounds like a soundtrack for the bedroom with its smooth and mellow sounds under sultry lyrics. “Got me pulling on your hair,” sings 6LACK. “I’ma make it mine for the night.”

Jhené joins in with stirring and daring vocals of her own, singing: “I bet you’ll love me more after the first fuck.”

In November, 6LACK released his debut album FREE 6LACK. Since then, his buzz has grown tremendously, reaching a fever pitch with The Weeknd’s surprise in Los Angeles. Now, he’s set to hit the road with Abel on the North American leg of the “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour,” which will also feature Rae Sremmurd and Belly.

But personally, 6LACK has been thriving as well. The Atlanta crooner recently welcomed his first child, daughter Syx Rose Valentine.

Meanwhile, Jhené Aiko is working on her own music. “I would say that [the next project] is way more than music and way more than anything I’ve ever done before,” she revealed. “I’ve been working on it for a few years now, since I put out my mixtape, so I think people will just appreciate all of the effort, work, and time that I put into it. I really like to take my time and make sure that it’s a true representation of me and what I’ve been through. It’s way more than music. It’s like an art project that I’ve been working on that I can’t wait to share.”
