New Music: Cassie - 'Don't Play It Safe'

Cassie isn’t playing it safe. After dropping “Love a Loser” with G-Eazy, the R&B songstress unleashes her latest single, “Don’t Play It Safe.”

Produced by Kaytranada, the Bad Boy signee gets seductive over the mid-tempo beat. “Don’t wait, baby,” she coos. “Don’t play it safe / Come take the reigns, show me something.”

Cassie dropped “Love a Loser” in July, which was accompanied by a 10-minute self-titled short film. Both songs could land on her long-awaited sophomore album, her first since her 2006 debut.

Beyond music, Cassie and Diddy are still going strong. Back in June, the Bad Boy mogul celebrated their love. “I’m in love now,” he gushed. “When a record comes on, the way she moves. When I look at her, the way she smiles. The way I see her look at me sometimes, when I wake up and she’s already awake.”
