New Music: Pink feat. Khalid - 'Hurts 2B Human'

Hot off the release of his chart-topping sophomore album Free Spirit, Khalid teams up with Pink on the title track off her upcoming album Hurts 2B Human.

The two duet on the stripped-down ballad, penned by Teddy Geiger. “God it hurts to be human / Without you, I’d be losin’ / Yeah, someday we’ll face the music / God it hurts to be human / But I’ve got you,” sings Pink before Khalid joins in: “Now if we defeat all odds and it was us against the world / You can count on me / You know I’d have your back.”

“Hurts 2B Human” follows “Walk Me Home,” “Hustle,” and the Cash Cash-assisted “Can We Pretend” off Pink’s upcoming eighth studio album, due Friday (April 26).

Khalid, who performed at Coachella over the weekend, is gearing up to hit the road on his arena tour, which kicks off June 20 in Phoenix and runs through Aug. 17 in Miami.
