Video: City Girls - 'Period'
Hot off the No. 1 song in the country, Drake’s “In My Feelings,” City Girls drop their own video for “Period” off their project of the same name.
J.T. and Yung Miami rep their 305 roots and showcase their vibrant personalities in the raunchy video. They ride jet skis and twerk on the beach in bikinis before throwing a carnival in the streets.
“City girls, from the 305 / Ghetto booty, pretty face, thick thighs / Period! Y’all bitches know we live,” they rap while dressed in bedazzled bras and feathers.
The Miami rap duo is also readying a Mass Appeal documentary, Point Blank Period, which follows the Quality Control signees on their road to stardom. The footage features interviews with Yung Miami and J.T., as well as Trina, Kevin “Coach K” Lee, and Pierre “Pee” Thomas.
Yung Miami can be seen in Drake’s “In My Feelings” video, while J.T. is currently serving time in a Florida prison for felony identity theft. “It’s gonna go by fast,” she told Rap-Up in June. “When I’m gone, it’s gonna be a whole project coming out, more videos.”
