Young Thug Arrested on Felony Gun Charge
Young Thug found himself in a slimey situation.
The Atlanta rapper was hosting a party at Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood on Thursday night (Aug. 16) to celebrate his 27th birthday and the release of his new project Slime Language. According to TMZ, a member of Thug’s crew ran into a police cruiser upon leaving the party, prompting a vehicle search which uncovered weapons.

Thug was arrested and booked around 3 a.m. for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle. He is currently being held on $35,000 bond.
In a video that surfaced on social media, officers can be seen escorting the rapper in handcuffs from the Hollywood & Highland shopping complex to a waiting police cruiser.
Just hours earlier, Thug released Slime Language, the debut compilation from his Young Stoner Life imprint, which features appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Jacquees, Gunna, and more.
