Watch the Trailer for Netflix's 'Outside the Wire' Starring Anthony Mackie

Anthony Mackie and Damson Idris team up in the first full-length trailer for Netflix’s sci-fi action thriller Outside the Wire.

Directed by Mikael Håfström, whose credits include 1408, Escape Plan, and Evil, the futuristic film takes place in 2036. America serves as a peacekeeping force and human troops on both sides are supported by robot soldiers called Gumps and drone pilots who monitor from thousands of miles away.

Mackie plays Captain Leo, an android officer tasked with finding a doomsday device before the insurgents do. He is joined by Idris’ character Lieutenant Harp, a headstrong drone pilot who is sent into a deadly militarized zone while working under the command of Leo.

The cast also includes Enzo Cilenti, Emily Beecham, Michael Kelly, and Pilou Asbæk.
