Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, and Chlöe Bailey to Perform at BET Awards

  /  06.16.2022

The first performers for the 2022 BET Awards have been revealed.

Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, Chlöe Bailey, and Lizzo will take the stage at the 22nd annual show later this month, reports Billboard.

They join other performers for “Culture’s Biggest Night” including Latto, Ella Mai, Givēon, Babyface, Chance the Rapper, Doechii, Fireboy DML, Joey Bada$$, Kirk Franklin, Maverick City Music, and Muni Long.

This will mark Chlöe’s first solo performance at the BET Awards. In 2020, she and her sister Halle performed as part of Chloe x Halle. Chlöe is nominated for four awards including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year for “Have Mercy.”

Harlow, who is up for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, is set to deliver a “First Class” performance when he makes his BET Awards debut. His “Industry Baby” collaborator Lil Nas X was shut out of the nominations, voicing his disapproval on social media.

As previously announced, Sean “Diddy” Combs will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his three-decade career in entertainment.

Doja Cat leads with six nominations including Album of the Year and Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, followed by Drake and Ari Lennox with four each.

Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, the 2022 BET Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
