Pussycat Dolls to Debut New Single May 20

Here’s the cover for the Pussycat Dolls’ new single “When I Grow Up,” off their sophomore album due this September. They will perform the song for the first time on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on May 20th and then again at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards on June 1st. The girls are working with Timbaland, Ne-Yo, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, Rodney Jerkins, and Sean Garrett this time around.

    Wasn’t there six original members of the Pussycat Dolls and a seventh member in Asia? Now there are only five members?

    Asia never joined, and Carmit left in March.

    I thought the reason they was looking for another member was because nicole was leaving the group so asia would replace her dont know what happened????

    Nicole was never going to leave. Just record a solo alum, which is part of her contract. She always had intentions of returning, which she has done.

    Nicole returned because she was a waste as a solo artist. Its just not her time yet. Shes been around for a loooong time. Remember Edens Crush? OMG!!
    Anyway she should just be grateful and accept whatever publicity she can get.
    Good Luck to the PCDs their fist album was hot and they are working with great people this time around.

    WOW! I can’t wait for there new album!! They are so sexy…I’m glad Nicole is back with the group.I think Melody Thornton would make a better solo artist than her.

    nicole never left the group. she jus was gonna record a solo album. thats it.lol. but asia didnt join after all. nd if u rlly think the group wouldnt be a hit without nicole. =]

    Okay people! Here it is, the straight up truth!Llet me break it down to all of you people that like to make up garbage on celebrities. Okay, Nicole NEVER left the group, PCD was on a hiatus because Nicole was recording her debut solo album that is set to release after PCD’S’second album is put out. Carmit quit the group because she had too many things going on in her life. Asia quit PCD to persue a solo career. That’s the real deal.

    okay so this song is pretty good, but i think the vocals are lacking on some parts
    but this is a new twist to the dolls
    not exactly the type i was expecting

    I think this song is actually pretty good. Its not like one of those sex appeals like Doncha, Buttons, or Beep. Its actually about something kids want. Besides I think 5 is a better number than 6. Im glad Asia and Carmit left, they were just dead weight with lacking talent. Melody Thorton and Jessica Sutta are much more compatible members for the group. This group may just shine brighter than Danity Kane, Girlicious or Destiny\\\’s Child.

    Allow me to get things straight. Robin wanted NIcole to have her solo album come out after the Pussycat Dolls came out with their sophomore cd. However, before when PCD Present: The Search for the Next Doll aired, Asia, the winner, failed to connect with any of the dolls. And Asia\’s pompous attitude caused her to have a solo album later on in July 2007. Then this year in March 2008 Carmit left because she felt that a solo album would much better than PCD. So Pussycat Dolls came to a quintet with Nicole, still, being the lead vocalist and Melody Thorton and Jessica Sutta being the backup vocalists. However, in this song, Thorton\’s and Sutta\’s voices cannot be clearly heard due to Nicole empowering voice. Nicole Scherzinger might quit her solo album because her singles are failing to impact the U.S. Music charts. With four singles (Whatever U Like, Baby Love, Puakenikeni, Supervillain) that have been released the pass year, Scherzinger may just have no choice BUT to quit her solo act. There are some rumors going on that Melody Thorton having a solo act, but I doubt Robin will even allow her to have her own album out.

    What happened to the new pussy cat doll? why is everyone ignoring that question??? Wasnt her name Asia and they had a show for it?! That was a waste of time and it makes me not what to support the pussy cat dolls for falsity.

    Carmit chose to leave the group and says in her blog that “Exciting news is coming” & Asia decided to pursue a solo career instead of joining the Dolls.

    Is Girlicious as good as PCD? i dont know, because they just began with the episodes of the program, but i really dont wanna look who\’s going to be in it, on internet, then it isn’t exciting anymore!!

    Here’s the shizzy on Carmit. She did not leave the group to pursue a solo career or because she had too much going on it her life. The group finally realized that she looks like a pre-op tranny and has no business being in the Pussycat Dolls. She just doesn’t fit in, and should pursue a different career.
