Rick Ross has chosen an exotic locale as the backdrop to the video for his second single, “All I Really Want.”
The clip for the song, which features The-Dream and production from Tricky Stewart, was shot in Colombia earlier this week.
“Come with the boss. Medellin, Colombia—we got friends over there,” Ross said to MTV News. “The Colombian women are beautiful women—that most definitely is what I wanted to capture. I wanted to capture a foreign setting, beautiful women. I want to capture some of the simple beautiful things in the setting in the country. It’s not about malls and the cars—I want to be more intimate about that person or that individual.”
The Boss was inspired by Snoop Dogg’s “Beautiful” video, which was filmed in Brazil. “When I saw that video, I sat back like, ‘Wow, this is art!’ We finnin’ to do that times five. Shout out to Snoop Dogg and Pharrell for the inspiration.”
Rick Ross will release his third album Deeper Than Rap on April 21.
