Rap-Up.com || Jennifer Hudson Holds Baby Shower; Pregnancy Confirmed

Jennifer Hudson has remained mum about pregnancy rumors, but a weekend baby shower in Chicago confirmed the news.

“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family,” Hudson’s friend, singer-actress Felicia Fields, told the Chicago Tribune of Saturday’s get-together in downtown Chicago. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.”

The shower took place in a relative’s home. “It was a nice time that we had,” added Fields. She didn’t reveal when the baby is due, but Hudson is reportedly many months into her pregnancy. Her public appearances and wardrobe choices as of late add fuel to the whispers.

While the gender of the baby is unknown, the father is fiancé David Otunga, best known as Punk from VH1′s “I Love New York 2.” The two plan to wed sometime this year.
