Drake tore his acl that is why he was sitting down during his performance, but Lil Wayne & young money were not hype as they usually be when performing. All the bleeping from BET didn’t help. If they didn’t want to deal with the lyrics of the song they should have chosen someone else to close the show.

THE show was boring BET AWARDS aint nothing without T.I. and Im tired of Lil wayne always getting BEst male Hip Hop artist. I thinck the best male Hip Hop artist award should have gone to T.I. I bet is just beacuse he is in Prision.

The whole show fail!!!!… i was excited to see bey’s performance and she was the biggest let down everrrrrr.. I also don’t think BET organised that show properly, sure theyy were paying tribute to MJ but at least still have artistes who sing the songs they were going to b4 he died and have like an half hour at the end of the show to pay tribute to MJ AS HE DESERVED CAUSE THEIR ATTEMPT FAILED MISERABLY

I gotta say – it seemed more like a JAMIE FOX tribute than an mj tribute

Beyonce sounded INCREDIBLE

Ciara sounded so soft and angelic, i was impressed*

But I agree with Rap up

Where was USHER!? Where was his Dance tribute?

Why didnt they Book CIARA to do a Dance Tribute as well!? I Understand why C.B. wasnt there

but they NEEDED usher and ciara, the two most influenced artist by MJ

I cant wait till MTV or VH1 or the Grammys
they put BET to shame

the BET awardds were HORRIBLEEEE…it was a ghetto mess…
i understand they only had days to change the show following MJ’s death. What i think they should’ve done was god CB to do one big tribute to him and keep the show how it was. They’re little alterations made it horrible. I understand the King of Pop died, but pay homage the right way.

I’ve seen Beyonce at her best & all who say Beyonce’s performance was magic need2 sit down cuz this clearly was a major let down, I think she performed at half her potential cuz she realized the big mess she was spewing at MJ & Janets family a while was a mistake & I’m glad she choked but I’m still her fan (I’m not contradicting myself). “Ciara sounded so soft and angelic” but BET screwed their show when they made her NOT do a dance tribute when we all know she was drivin & inspired by the Jacksons & I guess Aliyah but if not 4 them where would any1 be. Jamie Fox needa shut the *ell up, he ruined the show completely & only Beyonce & Ciara made me watch until their performance was over than I flipped the switch. Great Job BET, ya’ll made a great crap-tastic show!!

Yaw lets just let the moment be what it was. This was definitely one of my favorite BET Awards…it was amazing!

Beyonce had a great performance, her voice is amazing!

The O Jay’s are a little before my time, but I loved every song they did too!

and I was so excited when Ciara performed Heal the World That was a great surprise. I know she looked up to both Michael and Janet. Ciara looked and sound amazing! It was beautiful! Just her with the piano…loved it!

Jamie did a great job hosting and singing as well. The whole show was perfect.

My heart really goes out to Janet and her entire family.

This was the first time in a while that I purposely sat and viewed the show itself. I must admit with the given line-up, I expected a hot mess and that is what I received. To start, was jamie high or drunk? Either way, I am no longer a fan. My loss of respect is a cross between my feelings towards his “hit” song that sends a horrible message and the absolute Coonery displayed last night. Since when did conducting yourself poorly become comedy? Portaying drinking on-stage, foul language, showing your privates and the best was the off color HIV jokes. I mean, and you are someones father, wow… Then you have the other artist who make you proud to be black like lil wayne, soldier boy (and indeed he is a boy) forgetting to shout out MJ completely but never forgetting to show their ingnorance aka Swag. I am just outdone! I will more than likely never put myself through that again.

Last night BET Awards show last night had to been the worst of all years. I understand alot of people were mourning over Michael Jackson’s death but, but last night show was just plain boring. Beyonce’ didn’t take the show as she always does, What happend to Kanye and the Dream performing last night? Nobody danced for a Michael Jackson tribute except New Edition and that weren’t not up to par. Nobody did a good job a dedicating the show to Michael Jackson except Ciara, probably Keri Hilson, and Ne-Yo. Now that last night award show is over Im anticipatin the VMA the home where Michael Jackson most of his recognition that he most well deserved. The VMA’s are in September.

Oh wow, why everybody cussing @ each other? Lols’z i hope no one cuss @ me :) Anyhow, i think they did fall short, but it wuz bcuz Michael died like 3 days b4, so that messed everyone up. I feel that it would’ve been a better show if that tragedy wouldn’t have happened. Jamie Foxx did good, so did Beyonce, Ciara, Soulja Boy (egh), and Ne-Yo, but I felt that Keri and Young Money were the weakest links. Sorry :(

I thought Jamie was funny, Keri is not a good performer “at all”. What the heck was Bey singing about? I have no respect for Soulja Boy for not giving a shout to Michael. I like Keith Sweat and Guy, but BET could have chosen another entertainer to replace their performances. What the heck is going with Don Cornelius? Tyrese and that other actress was corny as hell. Most of the performers should have put their little egos aside, with their lame asses.

Where to begin,

Keri hilson performance was terrible..she was not conditioned because she sounded out of breath and i don’t know what she was thinking dancing..

Beyonce– WHY THE HELL WAS SHE SINGING THAT SAVE-A-DOG FOUNDATION SONG? she was boring, i thought she was gonna sing single ladies, halo or something better.

Jay z- that song is wack

Ne-Yo- by far had one of his best performance of the night by singing “LADY OF MY LIFE” it was emotional and sincere. Michael would of been proud.

Jamie Foxx- what to say..the WANDA and SHANEA NAH clip was funny though.

Letoya luckett– should’ve took beyonce spot cuz she sang better than her.

CIARA- AWFUL, she sounded like a little kid. no way she should of sang that song.

Keyshia cole and monica- Monica stole the show from keyshia

Drake- All the bleeping was annoying.

Soulja Hoe- was wack. can’t believe bet let him perform.unclassy.tasteless. Should’ve let Kanye perform “heartless” or flashing lights.

New Edition- Sounded terrible (most specifically, Ralph Trevestant) but their dancing was on point.

I was hoping to see 112 perform or Dru Hill

I hated that you couldn’t see who got nominated for the awards that just flashed them on the titantron.

Janet Jackson- I hated to see her up there like that, sad. Emotional.

I wanted Mariah Carey to sing Ill be there.

Pre-Show- Terrance and Rosci are by far the most, annoyin tv host ive ever seen. Day 26 looked gay with their dance sequence. Didn’t know who were those two dudes rapping with those tight crotch hugger blue jeans.

Overall, bet awards was a g-h-e-t-t-o mess. MJ tribute was terrible (minus ne-yos performance)

This wasnt at all a good or ACCEPTABLE Michael Jackson tribute!! Matter of fact it was a tribute and promotion for Jamie Fox. It was an ok show tho….

Ciara- very, VERY sweet and nice. No you dont have the best voice, but theres something there and your performance was BY FAR the most sincere! (Neyo is runner up). Best Michael tribute of the nite!!!

Beyonce- AMAZING vocally, but why are you promoting your album/tour and not paying tribute to Michael? Where is my heartfelt tribute I KNOW you can do?? Nonetheless, best BET performance of the nite

Neyo- Lovely performances!! Definitely did great by capturing the sweet side of Michael!! 2nd place for Best Michael tribute of the nite!

Keri- Below average…you are TRYING to pay tribute to Michael(altho it looked like Elvis) so you shouldve learned how to sing and dance AT THE SAME TIME before that mess…and the ending?? Nonetheless, below average BET performance..

Jamie Fox- I like you, but you were thinking a tad bit about yourself that nite…I mean in case you havent heard MICHAEL JACKSON jus died…cute performances, but you couldve sat down and let somebody else take your other 3 performances..

JayZ- Jus horrid….not even a good BET performance…

Lil Wayne & Drake- the same as JayZ…simply HORRID…And VERY confusing… o_0
